Marc Cain Corporation to open outlets in India

Marc Cain Corporation is a Germany-based international women fashion wear company and they are now planning to establish a base here in the Indian market. The initial plan is to open 10 franchise outlets in India in the next couple of years.

Company Distribution Director Norbert Lock said in a statement while speaking on sidelines of a textile and clothing meet here: “We are here to find franchise partners that means we are here to sell our collections.”

However, the company has not revealed on how much they are looking towards investing in the Indian market for establishing their outlets here. Lock added: “The investments will be planned only after we decide on the right partner. We want to be very flexible and have to work out areas of investment for us and the partner.”

Marc Cain already operates close to 56 Marc Cain Stores, 356 Marc Cain Depots, and Shop In Stores around the world. They have their manufacturing base present in Germany and East Europe and may add India as one of its outsourcing partners in the long run.
