Nissan to setup an auto finance company
Japanese automaker Nissan has revealed plans to set up an auto finance company in China. The company has received the official approval and this company would be setup as part of their joint venture with local automaker Dongfeng Motor Group.
This new company would be called Dongfeng Nissan Auto Finance Co. and it would have its headquarters in Shanghai.
The company would start operating after July. The company also has plans to launch their services into other major cities in the country in the coming years.
Nissan further said that they are hoping to benefit from this company in the coming years as the demand for auto financing will grow in coming years. They are also planning to launch new products in the market to benefit from this venture.
Nissan would hold a 65% stake in this new auto finance firm
