Ctrip.com collaborating with MSN
China is increasingly becoming a hot travel destination and MSN has announced that they are now collaborating with the country’s largest online travel agent, Ctrip.com.
The two companies now want to tap the country’s growing class of young and affluent consumers looking to spend big money on travel and tourism.
Ctrip has said in a statement that they are now becoming a strategic partner with Microsoft’s MSN China Web site. With this they get access to over 20 million MSN Messenger users in China.
Through this deal, Ctrip would help MSN China to build its online travel channel. MSN China users would be able to book hotels, plane tickets and holidays through Internet-based services.
