Suzlon to invest Rs 3,300 crore in India
Wind energy major Suzlon has announced their plans for major investments in the country. The company is planning to invest Rs 3,300 crore to expand its turbine production capacity in the country.
They are also going to establish a gear box unit in the country over the next two years.
Suzlon plans to invest around Rs 1,500 crore in its turbine plants at Mangalore and Udipi in Karnataka. Another Rs 1,800 crore has been earmarked for its gear box unit coming up at Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu.
The company also announced their plans to set up two research and development facilities in Europe. These would be established in Germany and Denmark.
