Michael Dell is the new CEO of Dell
Dell’s Chairman Michael Dell is now replacing Kevin Rollins as the new CEO of the company. He is of course also the founder of the company.
Dell is going through a rough patch. The company is going through a massive battery recall and has been reporting disappointing earnings.
Kevin Rollins is also now resigning as a member of the board of Dell. Dell said in a statement on this new development: “Kevin has been a great business partner and friend. He has made significant contributions to our business over the past 10 years. I wish him much success in the future.”
Dell’s accounting practices also under federal scrutiny. The company has been subpoenaed by the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York who has asked for documents related to Dell’s financial reporting from 2002 to the present.
Dell further said in a statement: “Dell has tremendous opportunities ahead of it. I am enthusiastic about Dell 2.0, which includes our plan to provide the best customer experience, build a strong global services business and ensure our products deliver the best long-term customer value.”

I’m writing in behalf of my sister Kathy actually she’s not my birth sister. Her family took me in when I was 14 yrs. old I came from a abusive family —- in every way. They have treated me as if I was and still I’m one of their own. They are GREAT people.
Well my sister Kathy was diagnosed in August of ’07, with ovarian cancer stage 4. She went through a 7 1/2 hour long surgery. then had to endure another surgery the next day. Followed by spending almost a month in the intensive care unit and 2 more weeks in the hospital. After being released from the hospital she completed chemo therapy, and now needs to start therapy again. Kathy is a survivor, she has shown courage and strength beyond belief. Her medical and prescription bills are beyond their limits so we would like to take some of the financial pressure off of her, and her supportive husband Randy. So they can focus on her recovery.That’s why were stating a fund raiser for her. I have no idea of how to do one. But I know I need to get an item that will help attract people to the fundraiser auction. I have’nt been able to do that yet.We live in a very small town.
I was hoping you could donate a laptop doesn’t have to be new. It would be greatly appricated and would go for a good cause.
