Maruti Baleno cheaper by Rs. 8000

India’s largest automobile manufacturer Maruti has passed on the tax benefits announced in the budget to their consumers. The company has announced that they are slashing the prices of their Maruti Baleno model by around Rs. 8000.

This news comes just a day after the company announced price cuts in their compact car models. This price cut is effective immediately and is expected to benefit a lot of potential buyers of this premium sedan car.

As a result of these fresh cuts, the Ex-showroom price (Delhi) of Baleno LXi comes down to Rs. 5,75,173 from Rs 5,83,173 and that of Baleno VXi to Rs 6,57,556 from Rs 6,65,556, a drop of Rs 8,000 in each variant.

Maruti has however also mentioned that they would not be able to pass on these benefits on models like Esteem, Swift, Versa, and Gypsy, which have few components imported from their parent factories.
