Mike Cannon to head Dell’s global operations division
US based personal computer industry giant Dell has now announced that Selectron Corp. Chief Executive Mike Cannon would now head the newly formed global operations division in the company.
Cannon would now be overseeing all manufacturing, procurement and supply chain activities.
He would also be reporting directly to company’s founder and head Michael Dell who recently returned to the company’s top post after seeing it losing its first position in the market to rivals Hewlett Packard.
This latest announcement is just the latest in the series of announcements at Dell aimed at fixing the problems at the company to get back in shape.
Solectron issued a statement saying that its chief financial officer, Paul Tufano would be serving as the interim CEO of the company till they find a suitable replacement.
