SAP to acquire Pilot Software
US based tech company SAP has said that they are going to acquire privately held Pilot Software.
Pilot Software is a maker of strategy management software. This deal would help SAP strengthen its portfolio of analytic applications.
They are going to integrate their products and services into its suite of business software products that run on the NetWeaver integration platform.
The two companies have not disclosed the financial aspects of this deal.
SAP CEO Henning Kagermann had recently said that they are looking to make “fill-in” acquisitions in areas where it needed to. This was to “generate innovative add-on products around … core products.”
