Navistar stops supplying diesel engines to Ford
Navistar International Corp. has said in a statement that they are suspending the production of diesel engines that it supplies to Ford Motor.
These diesel engines are used by Ford in their F-Series Super Duty pickup trucks.
This is a result of the growing disputes between the two companies. And this suspension of production of engines could possibly result in disrupting production of the Super Duty trucks.
These trucks are critical for the company as they are highly profitable and Ford is going through tough times in the US market.
Ford spokeswoman Becky Sanch spoke on this development: “We can support production in the near term.”
