Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherji to endorse Chevrolet Aveo
General Motors India has revealed that they are roping in the Hum Tum movie jodi Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee to promote their recently unveiled premium compact car and sedan Chevrolet Aveo.
General Motors India President and Managing Director Rajeev Chaba said in a statement on this news event: “The Chevrolet Aveo is a new generation car with class leading performance, amazing looks and style and great mileage. Hence, we were looking at ambassadors who not only connect emotionally with the audience today but also embody the two dimensions of performance and aesthetics, substance and style plus class and exuberance.”
The company is hoping that these star powers would help them showcase the capabilities of the car over the competition (Maruti Suzuki Swift and Hyundai Getz). The aim is to bring alive the positioning of Aveo as “the embodiment of great performance and immaculate aesthetics”.
The sedan model of Aveo would be aimed at the buyers of Ford Fiesta and Honda City. Chevrolet Aveo is being offered in two variants powered by 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre 16-valve DOHC petrol engines with standard five-speed manual transmission.
