Skoda Cars in India to be cheaper now
Maruti and other automakers in the country have already announced a price hike on their cars. Things are looking good for companies like Skoda.
Luxury carmaker Skoda has announced that they are now slashing the prices across all models by up to Rs 24,000.
The company has taken this step as they are benefiting from the reduction in customs duty on imported car parts as proposed in the Union Budget.
Skoda added that the price update is immediate.
Skoda India Managing Director Karsten Bogun added: “We have been reviewing the price implications with the recent budget impact. A reduction up to Rs 24,000 is expected across various models with effect from March 1.”
Skoda sells Octavia, Laura and Superb models in the Indian market. They are also expected to soon launch Fabia here in India.
