Tata Motors show improved sales figures in February
Indian automaker Tata Motors has reported that its total sales figure stood at 53,707 units in the month of February this year.
This is a 19% improvement on sales of 45,113 units in February last year.
Tata Motors in all exported 4,526 vehicles in February compared to 4,257 vehicles in February 2006. The sales of their commercial vehicles in February were up 22% at 27,859 units.
The sales of their commercial vehicles in the domestic market for the fiscal year were up 43% to 268,453 units.
Tata Motors added that the sales of their passenger vehicles rose 19% to 21,322 vehicles in the domestic market. Their popular Indica model saw sales of 12,580 units.
