Ford considering sale of Aston Martin luxury car unit

The two companies are discussing a potential sale of their Aston Martin luxury car unit.
The report quoted unnamed sources close to these discussions and said that Prodrive had trouble financing a bid but Ford had chosen it as the racing group had offered a higher price than other interested buyers.
Inside sources have claimed that Aston Martin could fetch Ford as much as 450 million pounds. Ford is yet to comment on these latest rumors floating in the market.
