Carl Icahn might buy more Motorola stock
Billionaire investor Carl Icahn has announced his plans to buy more stocks of the second largest mobile phone maker in the world Motorola.
Icahn already is a leading shareholder in the company and has expressed his desire to have a presence on the company’s board of directors.
He had said in the past that Motorola should increase its debt levels and return more cash to the investors in the company.
Icahn is popular in the market for pushing the companies he invests in to make major corporate changes to boost slumping stock prices.
He already owns around 33.5 million shares of Motorola and wants to expand this stake in the company.
