Lifestyle to expand in India with opening of 35 stores
Indian retailing chain Lifestyle has announced plans to expand its base in the Indian market. The company is planning to open as many as 35 new stores around the country.
Overall, the company is planning to clock a turnover of Rs 1,000 crore.
The retailing stores are currently located in seven Indian cities including Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmadabad, Chennai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Hyderabad and Pune.
Kabir Lumba, executive director, Lifestyle International said in a statement that they are planning to open stores in major metros while increasing the reach to mini-metro and tier-I and tier-II cities.
He added: “We are planning to invest about Rs 140 crore for expansion, and are aiming at sales of Rs 1,000 crore by the third year.”
