Orange to promote Sony Walkman mobile phone brightened by Aguilera power
Mobile phone operator Orange has said in a statement that they would be promoting the recently launched models of the Sony Walkman branded mobile phones. This venture also includes a sponsorship deal with pop diva Christina Aguilera and would target the cluttered European market.
Orange is planning to expand their value added services like music and video downloads to gain additional income in the market, which has almost saturated with few new customers coming in. this requires the company to offer more capable phones and Sony Walkman branded phones are just the right products for the company.
This latest deal would see Orange covering Britain, France, Spain, the Netherlands and other countries. These music playing capability mobile phones are manufactured by Sony Ericsson, which is a collaboration between these two companies.
The deal involving the pop star Christina Aguilera would give the company exclusive rights to re-mixes, ringtones, and videos featuring the singer. Orange added that Sony Ericsson Walkman W810i and W300i phones would be customized to work with its Signature framework.
