AT&T expands availability of Wi-Fi Hotspots
US based telecom giant AT&T has said in a statement that they have now added 13,000 Wi-Fi hotspots which can now be accessed by the AT&T Remote Access customers.
These new hotspots have been located at locations including airports, hotels, and restaurants around the world.
AT&T added that they now are operating as many as 48,000 hotspots in 79 countries. The company further said that its Global Network Client has also been enhanced.
The company is now allowing mobile workers to access the VPNs operated by their companies.
Mark Keiffer, AT&T Business chief marketing officer said in a statement: “Providing mobile workers with simple, flexible, wireless or wireline access to their corporate infrastructure is a core business initiative for AT&T. AT&T will continue to expand its Enterprise Mobility portfolio through technologies like Wi-Fi.”
