Aston Martin could get British ownership soon
Aston Martin could soon get a British owner as the current parent company Ford is talking to a consortium led by David Richards and his private equity-backed Prodrive racing company.
The deal could be worth around £500 million.
If the deal goes through, it would be great news for Aston Martin fans like Michael Urban, the chairman of the Aston Martin Owners Club.
The deal would also benefit Ford as they are going through tough times in their domestic market United States posting mega losses.
The suggested price of this deal is said to be half of what Ford had expected to gain from selling Aston Martin to a new owner.
