Please help the Filipino people to wake up about our political leaders... I am trying to set up business and you must be very careful on how you do it. Plus the corruption from what I have here from business partners is unbelievable. He said that the Police would show up each and every week asking him and others mainly foreigners in business to donate money to there causes which were commonly know as bribes or they would come up missing like 1000’s of foreigners have done so in the past for speaking up against the corruption. My question is why has not the Government stepped up and stopped the corruption. Oh sorry they are just as corrupt. But I will say the majority of the people are the nicest and kindest people in all the world now all we have to do is get them to make the turn to support English so there people can get better jobs then farming them out to countries like the Philippines And then there are the corrupt taxi cab drivers they really need to bring down the hammer on them. I have been there 16 days 2006 and a 29 days so far 2007. All in Bangkok trying to business All I can say is how true Thailand is in being corrupt.
