Wall Street Journal: Microsoft could acquire Tellme Networks
Media group The Wall Street Journal has reported in a news item that the software giant Microsoft is considering acquiring privately-held Tellme Networks.
Tellme Networks specializes in providing Web-based voice technology based services and the deal could be worth around a massive USD 800 million.
The report further claims that a confirmation could be made by the company as early as this week. Microsoft is expected to use their expertise to enhance their own voice-recognition capabilities built in their products.
