Apple and Palms Casino collaborating for live concerts
Apple Inc. has said that they are collaborating with Palms Casino. The two companies would now bring live concert events from the resort onto the iTunes Store.
These concerts would be recorded at the Palms new $80 million concert theater called The Pearl. Apple and Palms added that they are going to deliver these series dubbed “Live from Las Vegas” exclusively on the popular Apple iTunes store.
They would also be providing extended song lists and behind-the-scenes interviews for purchase and download on the Apple iTunes store.
The Pearl would see the first performance by the Evanescence on March 17. Palms owner George Maloof spoke on this deal: “We are thrilled to offer live performances from GRAMMY-winning artists such as Evanescence at The Pearl on the iTunes Store. Not only is The Pearl the most stunning concert venue in the country, but it’s the first major live music venue to be built from the ground up with iTunes in mind.”
