Adobe continues to perform well in the market despite lack of new product launches

Software industry giant Adobe is due to launch some major products in the coming days. However, lack of new releases did not hurt the company much as they posted on Tuesday a rise in quarterly net profit.

The company posted a net profit of $143.9 million, or 24 cents per diluted share. This is up from figures of $105.1 million, or 17 cents per diluted share in the same period last year.

The sales were however down to $649.4 million in the quarter.

Adobe has just launched a preview release of their under development Apollo application and they are scheduled to launch updated Creative Suite software bundle with applications related to development of Web, video and mobile device content.
