Indian company Essar Group has announced that they are collaborating with Britain’s Virgin Group. Virgin would be providing them services like consultancy, technical services and brand licensing for its mobile phone retail outlets.
They would also be providing them with expertise in marketing, customer care, branding, store operations and staff training.
Essar Group recently established a new company as they aim to market mobile phones in India. Essar Telecom Retail division would be handling this new division.
They already have more than 70 stores in Indian cities and are going to open another 100 in the coming months. The long term goal is to have more than 2,500 stores in more than 600 Indian cities.
