Shailesh Rao is the new MD - Sales & Operations of Google India

Search engine giant Google is planning to expand their services in the Indian market and they have announced the appointment of Shailesh Rao as Managing Director for Sales and Operations in India.

He would now be managing Google’s domestic business and strategic partnerships in India.

Rao is currently the Director for Google in California. Google Inc Vice-President Asia Pacific and Latin America Operations Sukhwinder Singh Cassidy spoke on this appointment: “As we continue to invest in India, Shailesh will focus on building a strong sales and operations team, developing Google’s strategic partnerships and enhancing our relationships with industry and government.”

The company continues to explore the Indian market targeting corporate sectors and promoting their advertising and search solutions.
