Reliance Retail enters Bangalore with 11 stores
Reliance Retail continues to expand their presence in the country. They have now opened up 11 new stores in Bangalore. The company already is operating nearly 80 stores in several states.
The retailing segment of Reliance now has a presence in regions including Andhra Pradesh, Jaipur, Chennai, Delhi/NCR and Ranchi.
Chief Executive (Customer Relations) of Reliance Retail Sunil Chandran said in a statement that each of these stores would have around 20 trained personnel.
They are also planning to offer part time jobs to students during their vacations.
He said: “The retail vegetables, staples and other grocery market is highly fragmented, but still growing 12 to 15 per cent annually. Our stores will cater to all income groups and offer a loyalty card programme with phone-an-order and free home delivery facilities.”
