Indian Oil launches XtraRewards loyalty card for their customers
Indian petroleum industry giants Indian Oil has announced the launch of their loyalty reward programme named XtraRewards for their customers.
IOC Director (Marketing) G C Daga said in a statement on this initiative: “XtraRewards is the first reward programme for customers paying cash. Even today, about 90 per cent of the people who drive into petrol pumps pay cash.”
He added: “With XtraRewards, such cash customers can add value to their purchases by piling up loyalty points.”
The first such card was issued to the former All England Badminton Champion Prakash Padukone.
Mr. Daga further said: “These loyalty points are accrued even for customers paying through credit and debit cards.”

am your customer from quite some time and still am using xtra premimum petrol for my 2 -wheelr as well as 4 wheeler.i got your xtrareward card from the petrol bank i was using iit almost everyday the problem is my card got damaged b’coz card thickness is so less ,now it is damaged i already send lot of sms as well as call to your customer care but i didnt got any proper response even my complate is from last 2.5 months.my card no. is 5000025392 plz send me a new card so that i hope indian old is always with me for my better response. waiting for new card my adress is #274 mtb area 4th main 3rd cross 5th block jayanagar bangalore 560041.waiting for your reply

I have been a Indian Oil Xtrarewards customer for almost a year now and have accumallated more than 1293 points , but am not able to redeem these points either online or through phone. It seems this scheme is phony. Just taking all the customers on ride to enjoy loyalty. If not , then please revert back to me with the contact details such that i can redeem my points . My xtra rewards card number is 5000064108.

I completly agree with Mr. Ravi on this. I have got 1200+ points, My card is tearing down, there is no way of contacting the customer helpline, the Xtra rewards website is still under construction (http://xtrarewards.com/).
Is this another Govt. run flop schemes?
Should we stop beign a Indian Oil customer for the heck of it?

Hello Sir, iam using INDIANOIL Xtrarewards card for about a month & have collected 275 points.Iam getting a regular messages from indian oil regarding many offers, vist http://WWW.XTRAREWARDS.COM.But iam unable to find how many points are exactly required for gifts….can u pls suggest me d proper path to find that offers…

iam having xtra rewards card, but whenever i use for small amount such as 100 or 300 rs the boys in the pump ask me to wait for a long time,hence iam forced to skip.if i go for 1000 rs then immediatly obliging.if i argue, they say its a waste of time for both end.i ‘xpect’ somthing from ‘xtra rewards’.regards

I purchased XTRAREWARD CARD. It is a bogus card. All false and indirectly cheating the public and making us idiots. If someone gives you that card throw it on his face. I got the card without the PIN number and to get PIN number I am struggling as if I am struggling to get Moon in the sky. It is all bogus and making all of us a big FOOL.

Kindly do not send sms TO ME . I had taken a Card and when I WENT TO THE PERSON CONCERNED TO ENTER THE DATA AFTER FILLING DIESE HE WAS NOT DOING IT . AND I WAITED THERE FOR ABOUT 15 MINITS AND I THINK YOU CAN FIND SOME NOBLE WAYS TO MAKE MONEY THAN CHEATING THE PEOPLE.tHIS HAPPENED ON THE VERY NEXT day of my acquiring the card.and that is the reason I did not send the filled form to you.And Kindly do not send sms to my mobile.
