Mercedes-Benz sales are up

Mercedes-Benz has said that the sales have improved in the last couple of months. The company reported sales figures of 83,800 units in the month of February. This is an improvement of 16 percent compared to same period last year.

The first two months of the year has seen company selling as many as 156, 600 vehicles. This itself is an improvement of over 8% compared to the same period in the previous year. The sales of the Mercedes-Benz brand cars rose 23 percent to 76,100 units in February.

Their was an improvement in demand for models like the new B, M, R and S-Class. However, the company is failing to sell the Smart branded cars in the market as this brand suffered massive drops in sales. The sales of the Smart branded cars fell 25.9 percent from last year to 7,700 units in February.
