Hrithik Roshan: New Brand Ambassador of Sony Ericsson
Mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson has announced that they have taken the services of Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan to become their brand ambassador for the Indian market.
The GSM mobile phone maker is one of the growing players in the mobile phone segment in the Indian market which is largely dominated by Nokia and Motorola.
Roshan would also be representing the company in other SAARC countries.
Sony General Manager Sudhin Mathur spoke on this new development: “Bollywood is one of the most effective routes to connect with the audience and Hrithik connects with the audience.”
With this, Roshan would now endorse all Sony Ericsson products and would be part of the company’s marketing initiatives.
Sony Ericsson is not the first mobile phone maker to have picked up a film star to represent them in the market. Motorola already has Abhishek Bachchan advertising for them.
