General Motors to showcase two concept cars at China auto show
US based world’s largest automaker General Motors is likely to show two new concept vehicles at the upcoming China Auto Show.
The company is expected to reveal models in their Chevrolet and Buick lines. This was revealed by the company’s China division.
These two concept cars would be amongst the 40 vehicles the company and its Chinese joint venture partners plan to display.
China is a pretty important market for GM as they are struggling in their domestic market of USA and they aim to make up for the losses from this market.
The company entered the Chinese market way back in 1998 when they opened a factory here. Now, GM operates seven joint ventures and two wholly owned foreign enterprises in the country.

With the sales scenario of GM in China, it might even better that they concentrate more on China than in US where they have a lot of foreign competitors. GM, maker of quality vehicles and parts like GMC tail lights, is currently threatened by Toyota being its tightest competitor. Toyota hs an impressive rise this first quarter of the year.
