General Motors India launches Chevrolet Optra Platinum

US based automaker GM has launched their latest variant of their Optra model in the Indian market. This new Chevrolet Optra Platinum is a special edition of its popular luxury sedan and features better interiors and new shades.

Mr. P. Balendran, Vice President, GM India spoke on this new car launch: “Like the recently introduced Chevrolet Optra CNG, the Optra Platinum demonstrates GM India’s commitment to continually exceeding the expectations of our customers in our vehicles and services.”

He added: “It builds on Chevrolet’s reputation for vehicles that stands a class apart and provide outstanding value for money in their respective segments.”

This model also features a platinum badge on the trunk lid in addition to a chrome kit for the front lower bumper, outer rear view mirror and tail-lamps, a sporty gear knob and a 1 DIN MP3 music system and a rear spoiler.

GM India said that they would make available just 250 units of the Optra Platinum and it would retail for Rs 8,24,399(ex-showroom, New Delhi).

Customers would also receive a special three-year/100,000-km warranty.
