Ford reporting massive falls in sales in March
America’s second largest automaker Ford Motor continues to perform poorly in the domestic market. The company has said that their U.S. sales fell at least 10 percent in March as they suffered from lack of demand for their trucks.
The company further reported that the sales to individual buyers and to rental-car companies and corporate fleets also dropped from a year earlier.
Ford is heavily dependent upon the sales of their trucks as they account for about a fourth of its sales. The company also said that their total U.S. sales this year will fall in almost every month because it’s reducing sales to fleet customers. These customers get bulk discounts.
The company also has just showcased their three limited-edition vehicles which would be displayed at the upcoming New York auto show. These three new models are: 2008 Ford F-150 Foose Edition; the 2008 Ford Shelby GT500KR version of the Mustang sports car; and the 2008 Ford Expedition Funkmaster Flex Edition sport-utility vehicle.

Looks like truck and cars sales are down. Is there any data on the limited edition vehicles especially the the 2008 Ford Shelby GT500KR version?
