Best Buy to expand Apple Mac sales program
Best Buy announced at their quarterly earnings conference that they are planning to expand its pilot program to test Mac sales in its retailing stores.
The company started by selling Apple Mac computers through 50 of its stores. Best Buy added that they recently added another 45 stores to test Mac sales.
Best Buy has now said that they plan to offer Apple Macs through 200 stores by the latter half of this year.
Best Buy president Brian Dunn added that they are planning to expand their relationship with the Mac maker Apple Inc. incidentally, they are also selling the recently launched Apple TV device which enables the Mac/PC owner to view the content stored on his computer on a television set.
Looks like Best Buy has had a good experience selling Apple Macs through their retailing stores.
