Tata Motors might enter the second hand car market in India

Rumors in the market suggest that Tata Motors might be the next big player in the user car segment in India. This network is likely to be managed by the existing Tata Motors dealer network.

However, the company has not revealed any timeframe and investment on the venture.

The second hand car market is unorganized in India and is handled by third party dealers. Though, auto manufacturers are entering the segment at a rapid pace.

Maruti (True Value), Hyundai (Advantage), Ford (Assured), Mahindra (Automart India) and Honda (Auto Terrace) are some of the established players in the market.

This segment of the auto market in India is growing at a rapid pace and there is a lot of space for any new player who wants a slice of the pie.
