Tata aims to double Fiat sales in India as they launch the Palio Stile
Fiat India has just launched their updated Palio Stile model in the Indian market. The car has been launched at competitive prices.
Fiat Palio Stile is going to be sold through Tata and Fiat dealerships around the country. Tata has said that they aim to sell over 3,000 Fiat branded cars in India during the current fiscal.
This would literally double the sales of Fiat cars in the Indian market compared to last year.
Tata Motors, senior manager (passenger car unit), Mudit Gupta spoke on their target for the current year: “In the last fiscal, we sold 1,500 Fiat branded cars and this year we hope to sell more than 3,000 cars through our distribution network.”
Tata and Fiat are also collaborating on developing cars for the Indian market. Fiat is expected to help Tata Motors in their upcoming Rs. 1 lakh car.
