Arvind Brands to expand their Nautica chain
VF Arvind Brands is the company behind the popular brands like Lee and Wrangler in India and the company has said that they plan to open 13 Nautica stores in the country in the coming months.
They plan to invest as much as Rs 20 crore over the next one year on these expansion plans.
The company has just opened their sixth Nautica store in Mumbai and future stores are planned for Jalandhar and Amritsar.
Other stores would be opened in cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad and Delhi. The plan is to have 19 stores functioning by the end of current financial year.
VF Arvind Brands Pvt Ltd CEO Darshan Mehta spoke on their plans for the Indian market: “We opened our first store in mid-2005 and for the next two years we had planned an investment of Rs 35 crore of which we have spent Rs 15 crore in six stores.”
