Vonage Holdings to continue serving existing customers
US based VoIP service provider Vonage Holdings has said in a statement that they are going to serve their existing customers despite the recent court ruling that barred them from signing on new customers.
The company lost a lawsuit filed by Verizon Communications which claimed that Vonage was infringing on their copyrights.
The court found them guilty and has ordered them to pay a fine and have disallowed them to sign up any new customers.
Vonage has said that they are confident of winning in their appeal on the ruling and are trying to work around Verizon patents.
The court ruling has hurt the company pretty bad as their share prices have already gone down by around 11%.
