Bajaj Platina is now cheaper by Rs 3000
Bajaj Auto continues to remain in an aggressive mode in the Indian two wheeler market. The company has already announced their plans to exit the 100cc bike segment.
The latest news is that they have now announced an Rs 3,000 price cut on the Platina. Platina is incidentally Bajaj’s last remaining 100cc offering in the Indian market.
Bajaj Auto said that they are able to offer a discounted price to their customers because of the opening of Bajaj Auto’s new plant at Pantnagar in Uttarakhand. The company is receiving tax cuts and excise sops from the state government.
The Bajaj Platina is being manufactured completely at this new plant now. Bajaj is in good position at this plant considering all the vendors have also set up shop within the same premises in Pantnagar.
