Vonage: Chief Executive Michael Snyder announces his resignation

Vonage continues to make news headlines in the United States. The latest news in is that the company CEO Michael Snyder has resigned.

The company is now being headed by the founder Jeffrey A. Citron till they find a suitable replacement for Snyder.

Vonage is in big trouble in the region as they have to face a heavy penalty to Verizon for infringing on their patented technologies. They also face massive competition in the VoIP industry.

The new changes in the company are however welcomed by the market analysts who believe that these are going to benefit the company.

Vonage is now likely to reduce the spending on advertising and the initial reports suggest that their existing customers are not leaving for other services.
