Reliance Money launches web-enabled retail kiosks for online trading
Reliance Money wants to make share trading easy for the common man. And for this purpose they have launched web-enabled retail kiosks which are similar to using Automated Teller Machine (ATM).
Reliance Money is the stock brokerage arm of Reliance Capital. Sudip Bandyopadhyay, CEO, RM spoke on this new initiative: “These Internet-enabled kiosks will provide users with anytime-anywhere access to RM’s financial transaction portal through which they can invest in various financial instruments in a secure environment.”
A company statement added: “By doing this RM has become the first Indian broking company to provide share trading through web-enabled retail kiosks and it plans to deploy 10,000 such kiosks across the country, for which it is also talking to various retail chains.”
They are working in collaboration with Wincor Nixdorf, a global provider of retail banking IT solutions to establish these kiosks around the country. Andrew Phay, Wincor-Nixdorf’s Asia Pacific (APAC) retail head spoke on these plans: “We see great potential for our products in the country owing to the retail boom and will continue to introduce the latest products for our customers here.”
