Red Hat establishes a global services center in India
Linux Company Red Hat has now established their global services center in India. The company said that this center would help its customers with deploying open-source technologies.
Red Hat aims to hire around 100 workers at this location in the coming year. They are also aiming to use a hybrid model for service delivery from this new unit.
They are planning to work along with Indian outsourcing companies to deliver services to its customers in addition to using the services of their own employees.
Red Hat in India is already working in collaboration with Satyam Computer Services and offer support from their existing unit located in Pune. The company added that the India continues to remain a leader in the global services delivery model and the Indian development community is widely recognized for its expertise and its contribution to open-source development.
