Gary Muto is the new president of Gap Adult and GapBody

Gap Inc. has announced that they are appointing Gary Muto as president of Gap Adult and GapBody. This is the latest major executive change taking place at the company.

Muto was till recently the head of their Forth & Towne chain of stores. Gap had recently announced that they were closing these stores.

Muto would now report directly to Marka Hansen, president of Gap North America. Tom Wyatt is now scheduled to become the president of Gap’s outlet division. He would be focusing on the growth of Gap Outlet and Banana Republic Factory Stores.

Interestingly, Gap is still hunting for a new chief executive after Paul Pressler was removed from the top job earlier this year.
