Sony Ericsson reports massive improvement in profits
Mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson has come out with their latest quarterly reports and the company has reported a massive boost in profits.
The company managed to improve their sales by around 63-percent and their net profit in the quarter more than doubled on a 12-month comparison to 254 million Euros.
They had posted profit figures of 109 million Euros in the same period last year. Sony Ericsson said that they made a smashing start to the New Year with massive boost in sales of their mobile phone products.
Sony Ericsson president Miles Flint added: “The strong sales and solid financial performance demonstrate a continuation of the momentum we established last year.”
Nokia has also posted improved revenue reports though Motorola seems to be in trouble due to their struggling mobile phone business.
