GoAir announces Preity Zinta as Brand Ambassador

In an inspiring move, GoAir, India’s leading smart fare airline today becomes the first smart low fare airline to appoint a Bollywood star as its brand ambassador. As a part of GoAir’s brand building initiative, the airline is partnering with Preity Zinta, as the brand ambassador for GoAir, to make a strong statement in the airline space.

The dazzling, gorgeous, charming and Bollywood’s top style diva Preity Zinta personifies what the brand stands for – “energetic, fun, stylish and youthful”. Her instinctive style, liveliness and fun loving youthful nature highlight the core attributes of the airline. As GoAir’s brand ambassador, Preity will support and be part of various marketing and branding efforts for the airline.

Announcing this, GoAir’s Managing Director, Mr. Jeh Wadia, said, “GoAir is committed to achieving a leadership position in the low fare airline segment. In a short span of time, GoAir has been able to capture 5% market share while generating recognition and loyalty among its passengers and also within the airline industry. I am pleased to announce, Preity as GoAir’s brand ambassador. Preity has similar essence which is in line with GoAir image and her endorsement will help in further enhancing and boosting the image of GoAir.”

Speaking on her new role Preity said “I’m absolutely delighted and excited to be associated with ‘GoAir’; the airline is colourful, energetic, stylish and full of fun, just like me, and it offers its passengers an experience of a lifetime. I feel every Indian must experience the pleasures of flying regardless of their economic stature. When I was a young girl and my father was in the army, the idea of flying to his distant bases always seemed like a dream due to connectivity issues. I’m glad today ‘GoAir’ can fulfil the dreams of other youngsters like me with their connectivity and direct flights to distant but exotic destinations like Jammu and Srinagar.”

As part on the new association, Preity would feature in the new GoAir thematic nationwide campaign “Chalo India, Lets Fly Smart”.

GoAir also unveiled the new vibrant look website – www.GoAir.in. The new website will have interactive features enhancing web bookings for its passengers. The new look website will be more user friendly and would showcase the innovative marketing GoAir promotions, the latest being Lowest Fare Finder. Passengers can now download flight schedule, connectivity route map, wallpapers, pictures of Preity Zinta, GoAir logos amongst others. Passengers can also educate and enhance their knowledge on the aviation industry using the ‘Did You Know’ block on the site.

As per the new summer schedule, GoAir now has a total of 387 weekly flights across 10 destinations in India, offering its passengers an option to choose a flight at a time most convenient to them.
