Sify continues to expand their city based web sites as they have now launched a local portal for the city of Hyderabad.

The company has launched the hyderabadlive.in website. This comes after the company launched similar portals for Mumbai and Bangalore (mumbailive.in and bangalorelive.in).

Sify said that the portal would allow city based web users to access local content, spanning happenings in Tollywood, music, the hottest hangouts in the city, and more.

The company added that the site would feature Net Jockeys who would present video capsules encompassing news, shopping, careers, etc.

Interestingly, the site would also feature live feeds from traffic Web cams stationed at key junctions of the city.

Raju Vegesna, Chairman & Managing Director of Sify Limited added that the launch of this city based portal is another step from them to help build strong city-specific communities, and catering to local information needs.
