Indian Oil Corporation pumps to sell Indian Railways tickets
Indian Railways have signed a MoU with Indian Oil to sell reserved tickets on the Indian railways from their outlets throughout the country.
Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) said in a statement that Ministry of Railways and Indian Oil Corporation have signed a MoU for the sale of e-tickets through Indian Oil Petrol Pumps and LPG Distributors.
The pact was signed on between IRCTC Managing Director P K Goel and Executive Director (Retail Sales) Indian Oil A M K Sinha.
Indian Railways is already selling their tickets through existing facilities of SBI and Bank Of India, Department of Post and Telegraph.
Executive Director (Retail Sales) Indian Oil A M K Sinha said in a statement on this deal: “The comfort of booking Railway Tickets conveniently at our sales point would surely come as a relief for them.”
