Warren Buffett looking for a pretty big acquisition

Billionaire investor Warren Buffett is reported to be looking for a huge acquisition deal something in the range of USD 40-60 billion.

He said that he could envision his company to pursue a $40 billion to $60 billion acquisition. Buffett is the chairman and chief executive of Berkshire Hathaway.

Buffett admitted that his company currently has more cash than investment opportunities. As per market reports, the company had $46 billion of cash, and nearly $90 billion of cash and fixed-income securities on its balance sheet at the end of march this year.

A report in Bloomberg quoted him saying that he would love to find an acquisition worth USD 40 billion and would find a way to come up with funds for a bigger deal provided someone could force him and his company to sell something that he had like to buy.

He further said: “We have plenty of things to sell if we needed to, but the cash is coming in faster than the ideas.” Now, this is one individual who has a different set of problems compared to most of the other people on this planet.
