Singapore Telecommunications now has more than 124 million customers

Singapore Telecommunications has revealed in a report that they are now serving more than 124 million customers. The company claims to have added more than 12 million subscribers in the first quarter of the year.

The company said in a statement: “It marks the fourth consecutive quarter that the number of regional mobile subscribers has increased at a record pace. This is the largest mobile customer base in Asia outside of China.”

SingTel further said that the number of mobile users increased by 46 percent or 39 million subscribers compared to the last year figures.

They gained primarily from their markets in India and Indonesia. Interestingly, these markets continue to grow even further and are likely to improve SingTel’s presence even further in the coming years.
