Warner Music Group to develop video programming through Den of Thieves division
Warner Music Group has revealed that they are now going to develop and product video programming to promote their recording artists.
This programming would be created for TV, home video and the Internet as they aim to popularize their artists hoping to generate more sales.
They are creating a new division named Den of Thieves and it would be headed by Former MTV executive Jesse Ignjatovic and record label veteran Evan Prager.
The company said that this new unit would create digital programming timed to Warner artists’ releases and other projects.
Julie Greenwald, president of Warner’s Atlantic Records spoke on this new development: “Den of Thieves will be a fantastic way to extend the reach of our artists and music into new territory, while at the same time vastly expanding the range of content that we are able to generate within our own house.”
