Hyundai considering building another car plant in Brazil
South Korean automaker Hyundai has said in a statement that they are considering building yet another automotive plant in the Brazilian market.
This new plant could have an annual capacity of 100,000 vehicles as the company plans to expand their overseas presence.
Hyundai just recently completed a car assembly plant in Brazil which is now their first manufacturing facility in Latin America.
Hyundai Chairman Chung Mong-koo spoke on their plans for this market: “Hyundai hopes to expand market presence in Latin America with continuous expansion of economic cooperation between the two countries, such as considering a plan to build a car factory with a capacity of 100,000 units.”
Incidentally they are already working on establishing a manufacturing plant in the Czech Republic.
