Google and Salesforce could join hands: Wall Street Journal

News media group Wall Street Journal has said in a news report that search engine giant Google is currently in talks with Salesforce.com Inc. to form an alliance.

This could be the next big step from the two companies to expand their services to compete against the software giant Microsoft.

WSJ further reported that the two companies are still working out on details of forming this partnership.

An announcement can come as early as in the next couple of weeks. The two companies are yet to come out with any statement on this latest report in the media.

Google is the market leader in the search and online advertising industry while Salesforce.com is one of the largest player in the on-demand Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution market.
